my husband and i are staying at my fathers apartment with our two kids we are behind on child support on my husbands son from a previous relationship and we owe ga power 1200 dollars. we let a couple of our friends and their 3 kids stay with us to keep them off the streets and my husband lost his job we got behind on the power and we pawned our car to catch up on child support and then lost the car. my grand father paid it out but we are paying him 50 dollars a week till we get it paid off. we filed taxes and all of it goes for back child support.we are both currently working myself only works weekends for 120 dollars and they are fixing to garnish my husbands wages for child support so long story short we need help on the power bill we owe on a trailer with a leaking roof. if any one knows of how we can receive help on our power bill it would be greatly appreciated if you would let us know

Contact this gentleman at Georgia Power for assistance.  I’ve been behind on my power bill since August and he is allowing me to pay what I am able a little at a time and waiving any late fees that are incurred until I get caught up.  He is also insuring that my service is not interrupted during this time.  He is very polite and helpful and told me to give his information to any other customers who were struggling with their bill.
